Amanda Wielgus is a Member Attorney (Partner) at Klein, Stoddard, Buck & Lewis, LLC. Amanda focuses her practice on family law including pre-decree, post-decree, child-related issues, and adoptions. She is a trained family mediator and mediates family related issues. She also handles landlord/tenant and small claims cases. Amanda has a particular interest in family cases involving complex family farms.
During her career, Amanda has served her community by volunteering with nonprofit organizations’ Board of Directors including the Ellwood House Association, CASA of DeKalb County, Inc., Kishwaukee YMCA, and the DeKalb County Bar Association. She is also a volunteer attorney with CASA of DeKalb County, Inc.
Amanda lives in Rochelle with her husband and two children. When she is not practicing law, she is chasing after her son and daughter. Amanda’s husband is a third-generation farmer, so Amanda spends time learning and supporting the complexities of her husband’s family farm operation.
