Amanda Wielgus joined Klein, Stoddard, Buck & Lewis, LLC, in August 2014 as a law clerk, became an Associate Attorney in November 2014, and became an equity Member Attorney in January 2019. Amanda focuses her practice on family law including pre-decree, post-decree, child-related issues, and adoptions. She also handles small claims and collections, misdemeanor traffic and DUI, and landlord/tenant litigation.

Amanda is a life-long Illinois resident, but a transplant to the DeKalb/Sycamore area. Her commitment to the community is apparent through her local involvement and leadership. She serves as secretary/treasurer of the DeKalb County Bar Association, and also serves on the board of the Ellwood House Association.

In Amanda’s free time, she enjoys playing volleyball in the summer and winter park district leagues.She lives in Rochelle with her husband where he farms with his family. Together, they enjoy travelling in all seasons, as well as spending time with family and friends.
