Mr. Meyer maintains a mixed practice in both litigation and transactional matters. His primary areas of concentration are general civil and commercial litigation, residential and commercial real estate transactions, estate planning, and business organization. Mr. Meyer’s litigation practice frequently includes matters concerning construction defects, mechanic’s lien foreclosure, personal injury, debtor/creditor, collections, landlord/tenant disputes and evictions, and nuisance/trespass matters. His transactional practice also includes the purchase and sale of businesses, confidentiality/non-compete agreements, and contracts.

Mr. Meyer is a fourth generation and lifelong resident of Elgin, Illinois, where he resides with his wife, Courtney, and their son. He is an elected member of the Board of Trustees at Elgin Community College and serves on that Board’s Finance Committee. He also serves as Chairman of the Elgin Township Republican Central Committee, as a member of the Kane County Republican Central Committee, and as a Board Treasurer and Member for Hamilton Wings, a charitable organization dedicated to youth leadership development through use of the arts.
